Pastor Goff was born and raised in Louisiana. She received Jesus as Savior and Lord at an early age, but did not develop an intimate relationship with him until later in life. Her mother played a major role in developing her character that would make it easy to communicate and flourish in any setting she found herself in. "Mother was a Southern Lady," Pastor Goff would say as she reflects on her childhood. "Her faith in God was the center of her life. Her beauty, charm, and manners, were reflections of the Belles of the "Old South." Pastor Goff lives in Dallas, Texas. She has three sons, Walter Jr., Kelvin (who is an Associate Minister in the church), and Tyrone. Her parents are the Late Frank and Emma Cason.
Church Affiliation: Prophetess Goff's church background is Baptist from childhood until she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1980. God then led her to Church on the Rock in Rockwall, Texas, where her Pastor, Larry Lea, was teaching the church how to pray. Pastor Goff developed an intimate relationship with God that has affected and changed her life forever. She is a graduate of The School Of Ministries of The Church of God, has attended Christ for the Nations, and received many certificates and diplomas for completed classes while at Church on the Rock.
Ministry: Pastor Goff currently serves as secretary for the Gulfsouth Territory Church of God, where Dr. Vernon R. Phillips is the Presiding Bishop, with churches in Louisiana, Texas, and Jamaica. She has been pastor of Judaeo Heritage Family Church for the past fifteen years. She is involved in outreach ministry, which includes clothing and feeding the homeless.
Vision: Prophetess Goff believes that God has given her a mandate to teach believers to find their place in the Body of Christ, to embrace the call, and develop the gifts and talents that God has placed on their lives (Ephesians 4: 11-13). She further believes that God has called her to be the "Repairer of the Breach." "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shall raise up the foundation of many generations; and thou shall be called, The Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Paths to dwell in (Isaiah 58:12). This mandate is to "Leaders" first in the Body of Christ, then to the body.
